The famous WRIGGLY NATIVITY!

What a show it was, the children worked super hard to learn new songs and actions to perform for all the grown ups.

They did such a good job that we ended up performing 3 times!! WOW

Thank you to all the parents for the support

Polar Express Night…All aboard!!

What a magical night we had at nursery.

The staff turned the Top Room into a cosy area were parents and their children could come along and read festive stories, make cards and decorations and even sing some festive songs on the Karaoke machine!

The children came along in their Pyjamas and were given their very own keep sake mug full of hot chocolate with a cookie as they listened to the story of the Polar Express…. And at the end each child left with a small souvenir from Santa himself!

Remember, the bell still rings for those who truly BELIEVE.

What a treat we had today at Nursery.

We saw the Littlest Elf perform and it was SPECTACULAR!

The boys and girls joined in, sang along and laughed and giggled throughout. Thank You Little Elf!

STAY AND PLAY!

It was our stay and play day at nursery today! The parents came along and took part in different festive activities with their children. It was very busy and lots of fun.

There was lots of things to do in the bottom room. We were making tree decorations, cutting winter vegetables, making snowmen with play dough and cutters, exploring winter stories, writing letters to Santa and posting them and many more lovely things.

Thank you to all the parents that came along! We hope you enjoyed yourself as much as the children did!

The green group all worked together to explore the block area in the bottom room. When asked what they were building they said “a Transformer!”

They put their hard hats on and got to work lifting and carrying blocks together.

This week in blue group the children have been getting very excited for Christmas as we introduced the Christmas show the wiggly nativity and started our rehearsals. The children have been trying out different roles and practising the new songs along with the actions. Also this week the children have had disco to Christmas classics. After the children showed off all their moves we explored the outside area during work time and discovered Jack Frost had been over night and froze our water trays. Blue group spent most of work time picking up different pieces of ice , they all had different shapes and sizes.

In forest school the children in yellow group talked about bonfire night and what colour fireworks they seen and heard. Next the children worked together to create a large Firework scene using various bottles these included spray bottles, push bottles and squeeze bottles with watered down powder paint to create large marks. During this when the children were creating the marks they made noises i.e. “bang”, “crash”, “boom” to mimic the fireworks they had heard the night before. At the end the children took turns jumping in the builders tray to make there marks splatter and increase in size.
