We have eight key aims for all of our children. These are:-
- Being Independent
- Being Confident
- Becoming an interested reader and writer
- Becoming a problem solver
- Being resilient
- Being inquisitive
- Being a good friend
- Being at one with nature
Communication and language is intrinsic in the development of other skills. We encourage children to communicate their needs both verbally and non verbally and feel that in doing so no child is left behind. Children learn to listen, follow instructions, and question things. We feel it is important for children to gain a wide and rich vocabulary that is sequential. By children listening, asking questions, and being given opportunities to talk with their friends allows them to understand more about the world around us and prepares them for the next stage in their education.
