This week the Snug have been exploring all things Halloween and having lots of spooky fun! We hid spiders in spaghetti and encouraged the children to pick them out using the tweezers to promote their fine motor skills. We counted how many we found.

The children loved our Halloween party and dressing up in their costumes. We played pass the pumpkin, pin the nose on the pumpkin, doughnut bobbing, we had a yummy party snack and a disco.

The children have enjoyed decorating a biscuit with Halloween sprinkles and using glue to make sticky pictures with Halloween sequins.

We also explored some pumpkins, encouraging the children to scoop out the insides and see what it felt like. The children used language such as, “sticky” and “cold”.

Have a lovely half term and we will see you soon!
