Red Group have experimented with lots of different materials this month. In Forest School, they mixed sand, mud, powder paint and natural materials they found and talked about the textures they had made. Then they painted with it! We also experimented with chocolate which was very popular with the children. They observed how the chocolate was very hard when it came out of the packet, but then when it was heated it went runny-just right for crispy cakes! Next we experimented with object to find out if they floated or sunk. They could not wait for their turn as they predicted what would happen-sometimes it was not as expected! We finished the term with an Easter party with lots of dancing and games-and a very special visit from the Easter Bunny!
