The children have enjoyed a range of different Christmas sensory activities. They also had a visit from the Sensory Bus!
Today has been our Christmas party
We first started by having a parade, showing off our lovely outfits/costumes to our friends!
We danced along to some festive Christmas music.
We played games such as pass the parcel, musical bumps and the floor is lava. We showed off some fantastic dance moves.
After the party games we enjoyed our delicious party snacks with our friends.
We then went to each group room which had a different activity in, such as making reindeer dust, pinning the nose on the reindeer, threading beads to make a bracelet and having a Christmas story

Tonight we welcomed you back into nursery and hopped straight onto the magical Polar Express!
We hope you had a festive time enjoying Christmas crafts and activities with your families.
There were tasty cakes decorated in our “Polar Kitchen,” delicious hot chocolates sipped just like on the train, and beautiful baubles decorated to take home and hang proudly on your Christmas trees.
The children have worked so hard practicing for the nativity! After weeks of practicing, their work has definitely paid off, as the children were amazing! They joined in with singing and the actions for our Going on a star hunt, and other Christmas songs.
It was the first year of us trying this nativity. As you can imagine, all of the staff are so proud of each and every one of the children!
This morning, we had a very special visitor at Clervaux! The Gingerbread Elves worked extra hard to make sure the room looked fantastic for Santa’s arrival. The children were so excited to meet him — they sang and joined in with Christmas songs, chatted about what they would like for Christmas, and even posed for a photo opportunity. It was a truly magical morning!

We have took part in the charity event for Tiny Lives. This year we completed a ten minute workout with the children to increase awareness of prematurity and raise vital funds for Tiny Lives. During large group time we spoke to the children about why were we going to dance today and the important work that Tiny Lives provides for lots of poorly babies. The teachers’ and children got their disco shoes on and showed us some great moves. We danced our socks off to some great party tunes! What a fabulous time we all had. Well done everyone
