The famous WRIGGLY NATIVITY!
What a show it was, the children worked super hard to learn new songs and actions to perform for all the grown ups.
They did such a good job that we ended up performing 3 times!! WOW
Thank you to all the parents for the support
Polar Express Night…All aboard!!
What a magical night we had at nursery.
The staff turned the Top Room into a cosy area were parents and their children could come along and read festive stories, make cards and decorations and even sing some festive songs on the Karaoke machine!
The children came along in their Pyjamas and were given their very own keep sake mug full of hot chocolate with a cookie as they listened to the story of the Polar Express…. And at the end each child left with a small souvenir from Santa himself!
Remember, the bell still rings for those who truly BELIEVE.

What a treat we had today at Nursery.
We saw the Littlest Elf perform and it was SPECTACULAR!
The boys and girls joined in, sang along and laughed and giggled throughout. Thank You Little Elf!
‘BARNEY’
THE ELF ON THE SHELF
This week the children have been visited by Elf on the shelf (Barney) who has shown up in new and exciting ways from being Spider man to dressing up the dinosaurs as reindeer, playing with the toilet roll and creating his own snow scene too many more.
STAY AND PLAY!
It was our stay and play day at nursery today! The parents came along and took part in different festive activities with their children. It was very busy and lots of fun.
There was lots of things to do in the bottom room. We were making tree decorations, cutting winter vegetables, making snowmen with play dough and cutters, exploring winter stories, writing letters to Santa and posting them and many more lovely things.
Thank you to all the parents that came along! We hope you enjoyed yourself as much as the children did!
Fireworks
‘Remember, remember the 5th of November’
This week we have been learning all about ‘Fireworks Night’ and how to stay safe!
First, we watched a magnificent display of multi-coloured fireworks on the whiteboard, and learned why fireworks light up the sky every year on the 5th of November.
Then we listened to the story of Frances the Firefly and learned all about the dangers of fire and fireworks!
After listening to the story, we made our very own firework pictures using a variety of materials; chalks, felt pens, pencils and paints. We made a variety of patterns that included; curved lines; zig-zags and swirls.
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
What a way to end this half term!
The children looked great in their costumes and joined in playing lots of different spooky games. We had our very own disco which was lots of fun especially watching the children show us their coolest moves!
We hope you have a lovely week off, stay safe and get lots of treats if you’re trick or treating.
See you soon!

The children worked really hard learning the songs and actions to sing at the nursery harvest festival which we hope you all enjoyed!!
We would like to say a massive thank you to those who donated to our Nursery Food Bank and for coming a long and supporting the children.
The children harvested apples from the apple tree showing interest in size and quantity of the apples they would throw away any unwanted or rotten apples. We collected 29 apples in total.
