Nursery will be back to normal session times too! See you soon!
Another very busy week! We have been talking about the very important subject of road safety this week and have re-enforced the message by reading stories, singing songs and watching safety videos. I think the children now know it is vital that they hold their grown upâs hand when they leave nursery. A big thank you to the Red Group parents who came to help tidy our outdoor area. You did a fabulous job! We also had time to do some splash painting which the children enjoyed very much. It reminded them of Bonfire Night!
What an amazing transformation in our nursery sensory garden, mud kitchen area, digging area and forest school!
Thank you so much to all of the children and families who came along to give their help and support to transform the areas in nursery for the children. We worked so hard and just take a look at what we accomplished in just 6 hours!

We even had time to put the spare wood chippings all round our forest school path.
Leo and Max found some worms!
We also ate some of our raspberries! They were lovely an juicy!

We also found 2 big green caterpillars!
I wonder what had been eating our apples?

Leo was on a roll looking for all the bugs on his list. He found nearly ALL of them by himself!!
James and his mam were looking for creepy crawlies in the secret garden. Mam was less than impressed that she was left with the centipede and even Miss Begum didn’t want it!! James came back and put him in the bug hotel.
Miss Begum and a small group went looking for frogs in the pond. She wasn’t very good so Aadi-May’s mam had to help out catching 2 frogs!! We watched them jump out the net and make big splashes.
Holly’s mam found a few tadpoles swimming around, they were far too small for the camera to capture but there was loads!
