Welcome back to nursery, ready to kick start a new term with lots of fun!
This week Green Group explored sand! Yes SAND!! In their own individual trays with their own resources – they explored and described how it felt and what they were doing with it. We even brought in the shape and object cutters to try make some prints in the sand. Some children were filling and pouring while others were trying to make castles.
We also got a bit messy and sensory with the paint. We painted our feet with help from Mrs Uddin and Miss Reid and made colourful footprints along the paper. Some of the children noticed the colours were mixing together and changing. They tried matching and finding whose feet were whose?! Before doing their very best to clean their feet with support.
