On Tuesday and Thursday, we had lots of fun celebrating St Patrick’s Day 🍀. We decorated the room green 💚 which made it feel very exciting.
In the playdough area, the children used green playdough and pipe cleaners to make different creations.
In the tuff tray, they explored shaving foam with green and gold glitter. On Thursday, we made a shamrock shape and mixed green and gold paints together.
At the writing table, the children looked at different sized shamrocks and had a go at drawing them. In the painting area, they used cut peppers to print shamrock shapes.
We also enjoyed trying some Irish dancing together during group time 🍀💚
