Online Safety

16th September 2022Mrs J Parker

Message from Northumbria Police

We believe that prevention is better than cure, and the earlier we speak to children about how to stay safe online, the better. Parents and carers have a crucial role to play in this.
Parents can be directed to this link Keeping children safe online / NSPCC where they will find advice on parental controls, apps, online gaming, and more.

Nursery Closure 19th Sep 22

12th September 2022Mrs J Parker

As a mark of respect for Queen Elizabeth II, the nursery will be closed on the 19th of September for her funeral.  The DFE have confirmed this date as a Bank Holiday, which we would normally be closed for.

Keeping Fit

8th July 2022Mrs J Parker

Blue Group have been practicing hard for Sports Day and getting very strong! We didn’t let the rain dampen our spirits on Sports Day, we just brought it inside. The children really enjoyed our races and I was impressed at how they waited for their turn to run and how they moved skillfully to avoid bumping into each other. You demonstrated strength and coordination, you were all amazing! Afterwards we had an ice lolly to cool down.

The Blue group have shown an interest in the affect that exercise has on our bodies, how to stay healthy and what are bodies are made up of. We drew around our friends and we discussed and labeled the different body parts.
