2025/26
At Clervaux Nursery School, we have 16 children in receipt of EYPP and 13 children on the 2-year-old offer. Their main barriers to learning have been speech and language development, as well as self-help skills, including not being toilet-trained upon entry.
To support our children, we have used the additional funding to employ another member of staff to work closely with these children in building confidence, teaching self-help skills, and developing independence skills. We have used some of the money to train several staff in Talk Boost and have begun to roll this out across the provision.
Staff have also been trained in BLAST, and all children in the 3-4 year old provision are ECAT screened on entry.
